Your AI fitness coach. From day one.

Gryter writes your next workout, adapts it to your recovery, and progresses you through four phases: BASELINE, BUILD, PUSH, and RECOVER. First 3 sessions free. No ads. No data sale.

BASELINE Movement quality
BUILD Grow capacity
PUSH Peak intensity
RECOVER Restore readiness

Every Gryter program runs the four-phase cycle.

Built for you.

Built for you if:

  • You're new to training and want a real plan, not random YouTube workouts
  • You've trained for a while and want your program written for you
  • You're coming back after a break, an injury, or a long stretch off
  • You want a coach in your pocket without paying coach fees

Probably not what you want if:

  • You want guided cardio classes or follow-along workout videos
  • You want macro tracking or meal planning today (nutrition is on the roadmap)
  • You want streaks, badges, or a social feed

What is Gryter?

Gryter is an adaptive AI fitness coach for iOS and Android. It writes your next workout — strength, muscle building, and conditioning — and adjusts every session to your recovery and progress, across four phases: BASELINE, BUILD, PUSH, and RECOVER. Built for anyone serious about training, from your first month to your tenth year.

  • First 3 sessions free. No ads. No data sale.
  • Available on iOS and Android.
  • Founded by Abid Waqar.
  • A different category of app from passive workout loggers and generic AI workout generators.
  • vs. $150–$250/month for a human coach.

Why Gryter beats writing your own program.

Your program adjusts when life does.

Skip a session, sleep badly, switch gyms — Gryter recalibrates volume and intensity so you don't crash or stall. It doesn't pretend the missed week didn't happen.

Train hard the days you can. Pull back the days you can't.

Gryter watches your logged effort and shifts you between BUILD, PUSH, and RECOVER phases automatically — the way a coach would.

Real periodization, not a random exercise generator.

Every session sits inside a BASELINE → BUILD → PUSH → RECOVER cycle with deliberate progression. The barbell stays put for a reason. Accessories rotate. Your main lifts don't.

See whether you're actually getting stronger.

Trend lines for top sets, working volume, and phase-over-phase progression. No streaks, no badges, no confetti — just the numbers that matter.

Three steps. From install to your first workout in under two minutes.

Tell Gryter where you are.

A few minutes of setup: your goal, your gym or home equipment, how often you can train, and your starting point.

Get your next session.

Gryter generates the workout. Phase, exercises, sets, target effort — written for where you are right now.

Train. Log. Adapt.

Complete the session, log how it felt, and watch the next one adjust.

Common questions.

What is Gryter?

Gryter is an adaptive AI fitness coach for iOS and Android. It writes your next workout — strength, muscle building, and conditioning — and adjusts every session to your recovery and progress, across four phases: BASELINE, BUILD, PUSH, and RECOVER.

Who is Gryter for?

Gryter is built for anyone serious about training — from your first month in a gym to your tenth year. It works for beginners who want a real plan instead of random YouTube workouts, intermediates tired of writing their own programs, and anyone returning after a break or injury.

How is Gryter different from logger apps like Strong or Hevy?

Workout loggers record what you did — you design the program. Gryter writes the program, runs structured periodization across BASELINE, BUILD, PUSH, and RECOVER phases, and adapts each session based on your recovery and recent training. Loggers track. Gryter coaches.

Does Gryter actually use AI?

Yes. Gryter analyzes your recent sessions, logged effort, and progression to generate the next workout. It is not a static template with a chatbot grafted on.

Is Gryter free?

Your first 3 sessions are free. After that, Gryter is a paid subscription. There are no advertisements, and your training data is never sold.

Can Gryter help me if I am a complete beginner?

Yes. Every new program starts in the BASELINE phase, which establishes movement quality and a sustainable training volume before progressing into BUILD and PUSH. You don't need lifting experience to start.

Can Gryter help me if I am coming back from injury or a long break?

Yes. Gryter restarts you in BASELINE — conservative loading, focus on movement quality — and only progresses into BUILD and PUSH as your sessions show readiness. It does not assume you can pick up where you left off.

What does BASELINE, BUILD, PUSH, and RECOVER mean?

These are Gryter's four training phases. BASELINE establishes movement quality and baseline volume. BUILD adds volume and grows your work capacity. PUSH peaks intensity and tests progress. RECOVER reduces volume to restore readiness for the next BUILD.

What equipment do I need?

Tell Gryter what you have access to during setup — a full commercial gym, a home setup with a barbell, or just dumbbells. Gryter only programs lifts you can actually perform.

Does Gryter cover nutrition?

Not yet. Nutrition coaching is on the roadmap. Today, Gryter focuses on training: workout generation, programming, recovery-aware progression, and tracking.

Will Gryter sell my data or show me ads?

No. Gryter does not sell user data and shows no advertising. Your training history stays in your account.

You've read enough. Train one session.

The only way to know if Gryter works for you is to try it.
