Delete your Gryter account
Last updated: 11 October 2026
This page explains how to delete your account in Gryter, the fitness coaching app by Abid Waqar, and what happens to your data when you do. You can delete your account in the app or by email.
Delete in the app
- Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner of any tab: Coach, Exercises, Recover or Progress. This opens your Profile.
- Under Account, tap Delete Account.
- Confirm by tapping Delete Account in the dialog.
You may be asked to sign in again first.
If you're signed in and don't have a subscription, you can also use the Delete account link on the subscription screen.
Deleting in the app is immediate and permanent. It can't be undone.
Delete by email
Email [email protected] from the email address linked to your Gryter account, and ask us to delete it. We handle email requests by hand, so the quickest way is in the app.
What we delete
When your account is deleted, we delete:
- your profile and everything stored with it;
- your sign-in account.
What we may keep
- A record of the deletion, including your email address and your reason if you gave one. We keep this record for 90 days. A copy of it is also emailed to us, and that email isn't deleted automatically.
- Feedback, bug reports and other messages you've sent us.
- A short-lived marker, kept for security, that your account was deleted.
Other companies keep their own records on their own schedules, such as the app stores, Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics and our AI providers. Deleting your Gryter account doesn't remove them.
Your subscription
Deleting your account doesn't cancel your subscription. To stop paying, cancel it in Google Play or the App Store.
